 The Haneen Foundation was created in loving memory of Abdallah Deffallah, a young man whose kindness, laughter, and light touched everyone around him. “Haneen,” a name many lovingly called him by, now stands as a symbol of the compassion and warmth he carried in his heart.

Our mission is to honor Abdallah’s legacy by building a mosque and community center, a space that brings people together through faith, learning, and service. This initiative serves as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), ensuring that every act of worship, every lesson, and every moment of community built within its walls continues to bring blessings to Abdallah and to all who contribute.

Abdallah’s life was defined by his generosity and love for others. Whether he was spending time at the gym with his siblings, watching anime, or helping family and friends, his presence brought joy and comfort. Through this foundation, we hope to keep that same spirit alive by creating a place that embodies kindness, unity, and hope.
